LA Mischief

I think everyone can agree that “The Goonies” was one of the greatest movies to come out of the 80’s.  On October 20th there will be a free outdoor screening of the film.  You can see it at Grand Park, the new park that opened downtown just a few months ago. On top of the screening being free (which is always amazing) there will also be free popcorn.  Food trucks will also be there if you get hungrier for something a little more substantial

The screening is a promotional effort for LA Streetcar Inc, which is hoping to get a streetcar as part of the downtown public transportation.  Residents are voting to see if it will pass, so the screening is offering voter registration as well as information about the project.

Either way festivities start at 5:30pm.  I think we just tasted the last bit of summer so be sure you bundle up for a night of Goonies under the stars.
