Dia de Los Muertos
If you’re looking to add a spooky twist to this fall season besides the usual Halloween Horror Nights and Haunted Hayrides, then check out Los Angeles Dia de Los Muertos. It’s a festival going on at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery this Saturday, October 27th. Starting at noon and ending at midnight there will be a traditional Aztec procession, a costume contest for best Calaca (skeleton), food, music, dance, and hundreds of altars set up by people in honor of their deceased ancestors.
Tickets are $10. You can either purchase at the door (exact change) or pre-purchase online here. Parking info here. And general info here.
